John Chiara is known for his unique photographic process obtained through the use of a room-sized camera obscura of his own design. To create an image, Chiara tows a trailer carrying the device—too big to move on its own—into position, climbs inside it through a makeshift tube, and then takes the better part of a day to frame and focus each shot.
You know it's the party of the year. Just imagine what we'll do when it's our birthday.
