Artist, writer, and curator Việt Lê will offer insight into culture wars from past to present; related debates over identity, sexuality, and representation; and the role of photography in these discussions. Lê is an assistant professor in the visual studies program and in the visual and critical studies graduate program at California College of the Arts, San Francisco and Oakland.
Lunchtime Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of the month at noon in the Charlotte Wendel Education Center. Visitors are welcome to bring food and beverages.
